The Canada Prenatal Nutrition Program (CPNP) is a community based program that supports families through their pregnancy and the first year of their baby’s life. The program provides resources and support in areas such as nutrition, health issues, mental wellness, breastfeeding and infant growth & development.

The goal of the Canada Prenatal Nutrition Program (CPNP) is to increase access to health and social supports for prenatal and recently postpartum families who are facing challenging circumstances that put their health and the health of their infants at risk.

Key activities include nutrition education and counselling, food supplementation, one-on-one and/or group support, free prenatal vitamins, breastfeeding information & support and referrals to other agencies/services in our community.
