The Comox Valley Family Services Association (CVFSA) will be once again working towards achieving our continued CARF® Accreditation. Through this review process, the organization goes through an internal examination of our programs and practices which is followed by an on-site survey. This year, the survey will be done virtually.
The survey process will be conducted by a team of expert practitioners selected by CARF, where the CVFSA must demonstrate conformity to a series of rigorous and internationally recognized standards of practice for accreditation.
CARF International is an independent, nonprofit accreditor of health and human services, since 1966. Through accreditation, CARF assists service providers in improving the quality of their services, demonstrating value, and meeting internationally recognized organizational and program standards.
