Sexual Abuse Intervention Program: SAIP Counsellor Job Posting: 21 hours per week

This counselling position provides therapy, education and related services for child and youth who are victims of sexual abuse, and for children with sexual behaviour problems.  Support and education for families are provided along with community consultation, as required.

Applicants must have a Master’s degree in counselling or related field as well as two years of counselling experience with children/youth and families, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in relevant areas as approved by the Executive Director. Training in art or play therapy is considered an asset.

Closing Date: December 14, 2018

Starting Date: January 14, 2019

Hours: Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday = 21 hours per week ( some flexibility)

Wage: Based on agency wage grid
