Our reception is available Monday to Friday 9 to 4 pm and closed over the lunch period from 12:00 to 1:00 pm.  We are closed Saturday & Sunday and Statutory holidays.

If you get our answering machine when phoning,  it means our staff are currently busy. Please leave a brief message about who you are trying to contact with or what you are seeking help about. We will return your call as soon as possible. Enquiries are kept confidential.

Suicide Prevention Information:

1) Child & Adolescent Outreach / Suicide Prevention Open referral and no cost. Short-term counselling and referral service for children and youth, up to their 19th year, who experience suicidal feelings, depression, loss and social isolation. Visits can occur in the home, community or agency office. Contact - David Hext 250-702-6880 2) Crisis Nurse  Available by calling the Crisis Line 1-888-494-3888 (Vancouver Island Crisis Line) .

Contact bc211  Vancouver-based nonprofit organization that specializes in providing information and referral regarding community, government and social services in BC. Their help line services include Alcohol and Drug Information and Referral Service (ADIRS), the Problem Gambling Help Line, VictimLink BC, and the Youth Against Violence Line

Zero-Tolerance Physical or Verbal Abuse Policy: We understand that people can become angry when they feel that matters about which they feel strongly about, are not being dealt with as they wish.  If that anger escalates into aggression we consider unacceptable, it may result in your removal from our space/property.

Therefore, we expect all relationships and interactions will be respectful and free of bias, prejudice and harassment.  We will also not tolerate speech or behaviour that disrespects others (including those who may not necessarily be present at the time of the interaction).
