Services and Programs

Our reception is available Monday to Friday 9 to 4 pm and closed over the lunch period from noon to 1:00 pm.  If you get our answering machine when calling in,  it means our staff are currently busy. We will return your call as soon as possible. Please leave a brief message about who you are trying to contact with or what you are seeking help about. Enquiries are kept confidential.

Our individual programs have various hours as arranged by the direct program management and staff, some evenings and weekends may be arranged as determined by the program.

Suicide Prevention Information:

Locally:  1) Child & Adolescent Outreach / Suicide Prevention Open referral and no cost. Short-term counselling and referral service for children and youth, up to their 19th year, who experience suicidal feelings, depression, loss and social isolation. Visits can occur in the home, community or agency office. Contact - David Hext 250-702-6880 2) Crisis Nurse  Available by calling the Crisis Line 1-888-494-3888 (Vancouver Island Crisis Line)  For adults who are in emergent crisis with imminent serious risk to themselves or others or who need professional mental health or psychiatric intervention. Crisis Intervention Nurse is paged for mobile assessment, short term follow up and referral
